It features LED's that produce incandescent color temperatures of 2700K, eliminating a noticeable shift in light color that can happen with fluorescent recessed lights. With an output of 650 lumens and a 5-1/2-inch aperture, this module is suited for every room in the house, including the kitchen, bathroom, hallway, bedroom and living room. The damp rating allows it to also be used in a soffit in an exterior entryway or other covered locations. The rated life of each LED is an amazing 50,000 hours. It fits the majority of manufacturers' 6-inch recessed housings (contact Customer Service for full list). The included GU24 socket adapter includes IDC connectors to make conversion simple and straight forward, making it perfect for commercial applications. Simply unattach the current recessed housing socket and clip it off, insert the loose wires from the housing into the quick connectors and ground the new GU24 socket to the housing frame. Once the wiring is complete the downlight module can be connected to the new GU24 socket and slid up into the housing. Rotate the module 1/4 turn to the right to lock in place, and your done.
