I ordered a Christmas present for my mother with Stage III lung cancer on Friday, December 19th. I followed their holiday shipping guidelines and selected 2nd Air shipping. The shipment did not go out until the 23rd - missing Christmas. Compounding this, UPS also couldn't even get it within the 2 business days and I still have not received my present on the morning of the 29th. When I contacted Adorama the first time at 10:15 of the 23rd, they refunded my shipping and said a manager would call me back in 20-30 minutes. No call back and when I tried back I found out they close early on Fridays (12:30). I emailed them and have not gotten a response yet. I called this morning and all they would offer me is free expedited delivery on my next order. I personally don't believe that is sufficient compensation for ruining my Christmas with my ailing mother and for both my husband and I spending hours on the phone with UPS trying to get my package delivered. I am beyond dissatisfied with their customer service and hope that you all choose another company over this one! I know I will! By the way, they can go back and get a refund from UPS for not getting it here on time so are they really out anything for screwing up so badly?
