I listed several books I wanted to sell, all 26 of them. Then a short time later, I got an email from Amazon saying my account had been cancelled for prior violations of Amazon policy, and all my listings had been removed (but apparently not soon enough, because I managed to sell a book). What? I'd never sold on Amazon before, so how could I have violated any policies?
Then I realized my son had sold some items and had some problems, which were subsequently resolved, but the one negative feedback on his account remains. I think they use address and phone number to link problem accounts to non-problem accounts.
I tried to explain this, via email, to Amazon. They weren't interested. They thanked me for understanding their decision. I do NOT understand their decision. My seller's account is blocked permanently. They will not discuss this with me. They will not help me problem-solve this.
Well, there's a Barnes & Noble right down the street from me, and they have an online store, too. Plenty of book-buying fish in the ocean. I can sell my books on eBay, which I don't enjoy, but I don't loathe them like Amazon now.
