I have had great experiences with Coastal Contacts. I have been a long time customer and I have never experienced some of the issues that I've seen posted here. To be honest, I haven’t had to call customer service so I don’t have too much to say about them.

I have found the site to have great prices, and really fast shipping once I faxed in my prescription, I highly recommend them.

I think some of the issues that I've read about are due to the fact that the company will ship your contacts before you pay. (I work as a web designer so I pay attention to these types of things)

As a result, an order is placed quickly (compared to other online shopping sites); when you click "buy now" you really are buying now. This is actually one of the things I like about CoastalContacts as I never have to pay until my contact lenses arrive. I don't know why more online stores don't offer this service.

Oh - they used to charge a handling fee (like most contact lens companies) but I just placed an order last week and I noticed it was gone - Even better!
