I ordered 3 deep-dish pizza pans on Dec 26 2006. My credit card was charged on Dec 26, 2006. It is now five weeks later (Jan 30, 2007) and my order has still not shipped. NOT EVEN SHIPPED! Give me some raw aluminum and an anvil and I could have forged my own d*** deep-dish pizza pans in that amount of time!

After repeated communication, I have been informed that "at this time the item is not available to ship."

So all along the item was "unavailable", but they charged my credit card and the item is still on the website for any other sucker to attempt to buy.

Unfortunately I did not come here before placing my order. And doubly so, this was the only place that I was able to locate this particular size pizza pan 18" diameter x 2" deep. So now I'm out an entire month's worth of time waiting. Thankfully I have a great credit card company and they will reverse the charge easily enough, but I'd rather have my pans than this headache and wasted effort.

I shop constantly over the net, and with no exageration, these people have the worst customer service I've ever seen.

I ordered a dutch oven as a Christmas gift in early December and was charged instantly for it, only to find out later that the item would not be in stock until January. I cancelled on Dec. 14th, and a credit was supposed to be issued. Since then I have made many phone calls and sent many e-mails, only to be told over and again that my refund was being issued. Pure fiction. Then on January 15, I get notice that the item has been shipped to me from the manufacturer.

Customer service today said they would not issue me a refund until the product is returned! I'm still wasting my time with these morons, and they refuse to do anything whatsoever extra to retain my business!

I only wish there were some way to give these guys a worse rating than this site will allow. Avoid these people at all costs!!!!

I called them before placing order to verify the price on their web of $64.87 for a set of 4 bamboo chairs. Customer service & product info.# both confirmed it. After ordering they changed the $ on the site and don't want to honor their mistake.

If you need whatever you're ordering anytime in the near future, don't order from Instawares. Even if you can finally get through on their 800 number, their representatives will tell you anything. My last order (which according to their web site was to be shipped in 3-5 business days) took TWO MONTHS!

Nightmare!

Ordered chaffing dishes for Christmas on Dec 5. Still hadn't arrived by the 21st (credit card charged on the 8th) so I cancelled the order. Told I would get refund. Instead, one week later, I got an e-mail on Dec 28th saying it shipped and I would get receipt on Jan 2nd. Now I have the headache of getting this stuff back to them. What a horrible experience. As of Jan 3, I still don't have the credit given back on my card.

Slow shipping, always screw up the order, rude customer service

I ordered from them twice and each time the order was messed up (only shipped partially) and I had to call them to have them ship me the rest. And the customer service is rude. For example, I ordered 7 items. They only shipped out 1. And after calling them they said in an UN-apologetic way that the rest will be shipped next week. I asked them since they messed up my order and I needed the items ASAP can they expedite the shipping (use 2 day ground instead of 6 day ground) they said "no, we will ship the rest of the items next tues and that's all I can do". I will never buy from them again.

Product not even manufactured anymore, & won't refund money!

Instawares and Instaoffice are the same company. On 10/25/06 I ordered some folders from Instaoffice and when they hadn't come after 15 days I called. They said they should be sent out that day, and that they had been on backorder. Six days later, when I still hadn't received them, I called back & they said that apparently, the manufacturer had discontinued that item, so they couldn't fill my order. I mentioned that they might not want to list on their website that the "Item is in stock" then. They said they would refund my money to my credit card within 7-10 days. That was on 11/15/06. Today is 12/18/06 and I still haven't received my refund back on my credit card. I called again today and after a 20 minute wait was told that the person I spoke to on 11/15/06 that said they would refund me never set it up to be refunded. This gal said she would do that immediately and put me at the top of the list. Almost 2 months out and no product, and no refund. They sure did charge my credit card right away, though! Beware in purchasing from these companies!

BE CAREFUL ABOUT DOING BUSINESS WITH INSTAWARES AGAIN

Item description stated quantity of folders was 20. I received 10. I purposely chose this product over another because the price was better per unit -- or so I thought. I was told that it was a 'website error'. The company was unwilling to stand by its description and said I had to pay to the return the items if I wanted to exchange them.

In addition, I spent almost 30 minutes on the phone with customer service -- most of it on hold.

ADDENDUM: After contacting the company online, the online rep stated that she would refund the difference between what I thought I was ordering and what I actually received. We'll see if that happens . . . still doubt I will do business with them again.

I ordered online and bought enough to get free shipping. They charged my credit card $70 for the shipping and the 3 days to ship it actually took a month and a half. I hope that anyone doing business with this rip off of a company reads this web site. I can not believe all the negative responses this company gets and I am going to point my credit card company here and if possible Visa and Mastercard International. If they can not take credit cards then maybe there is hope to shut this site down. Anyone out there have contacts with the credit card companies?

10 minute hold times to be hung up on!

I'm writing this review as I sit on hold...waiting for someone to pick up the phone. This is my third call to them, the first two calls they picked up the phone and hung up on me without so much as a "hello" or "screw you".

And all I want to do is see if an item shipped. I'd hate to find out what happens if it turns out I have an actual problem.

3 calls...34ish minutes on hold and counting.

Instawares fraud, wrong items sent, no refund 2 months later

Shopping was fine, at the last minute they informed me that the item could not be found in the warehouse. After I cancelled the order, they sent me the wrong product on purpose to justify charging me. I sent the items back, of course, and here I am two months later and they still have not given me back a refund, there is no way to speak with their accounts payable people and managers are never "available". Avoid this company like the plague.

Awfull!!! Worst online buying experience ever. They charged my credit card immediately, and wouldn't credit for 2 months. The items showed in stock. After 2 weeks I called to find out where my order was. I waited on hold for 45 minutes only to find out my orders never shipped. And then they told me it would take 2 months to get a refund. Never again!! I wish I had read the reviews on these scam artists before I placed an order. I made a purchase on June 5, 2006. Still no merchandise 3 weeks later. Called them and was told it was on backorder for another 1-2 weeks (it was supposedly "in stock" when I ordered). Called 2 weeks later... "on back order for another 2 weeks". Enough was enough. I cancelled my order. As other reviews have said, they claim it takes 6-8 weeks to process the credit (which is a load of you-know-what). Well, its been 8 weeks now. Still no credit. I had to finally hand this off to my credit card company. I'm glad its their problem now. I will NEVER, EVER order from these guys again at any price!! I urge others to avoid InstaOffice (and their sister company, InstaWares) like the plague. Im surprised the credit card companies havent black balled these guys! By far, the worst online retailer I have ever come across (and I shop online alot!!)

Instawares charged my credit card for an item they did not have in stock, and knew they would not have in stock for three months. After three months they could still not deliver the ordered item. Five months later they have consistently failed to refund my purchase price. It is virtually impossible to contact them by any means. Advice: NEVER deal with this merchant.

This whole company is based on lies and deceit. They took my money and never shipped the product. 2 months later they finally refunded my money. I have gotten many different responses from their customer service from "we are bankrupt and on credit hold with all of our vendors" to "we are having growing pains" to "your items will ship tomorrow". A bunch of crooks must be running this company.

Instawares, through SuiteSupply.com, offered a good price on some trash receptacles for our playspace. But when it came time to deliver, they couldn't. The pails never came. Turns out they were on backorder for MONTHS. I had to call their customer service to find this out (minimum ten minutes on hold each time). They couldn't even tell me when the item I'd already paid for would be available. Finally, they agreed to cancel the order and credit my card for the cost of the cans. But they never issued the credit! A half-dozen e-mails later (I had to start documenting this fiasco) and they are still telling me their accounting dept. and management needs to review this. 3 months, tons of aggravation, and I'm out $80. Not worth it! Buyer Beware!!!

The worst company I have ever had to deal with. They stole money from my company. I returned product and they said they received it. 6 months later I am still waiting for a refund and now they say that I only returned 10 out of the 12 items. They said they will need to speak with the warehouse on how many were returned. How are they going to remember 6 months ago? I have e-mails showing that they received everything but that will not work because they woman that sent the e-mail no longer works for the company. THE BIGGEST THIEFS EVER. 12/9: Just wanted to update my initial review with the latest events: I received a check to refund the first order - they charged me a 20% restocking fee (over $60), which is outrageous considering they shipped me the WRONG product!!! The second refund, I'm being told, will also not be for the full amount - this time they are claiming they didn't receive the entire order back, which is completely untrue. What a HUGE SCAM, this has been a fiasco from start to finish. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY (they also operate as Instaoffice.com).

Horrible. Just like the other reviews here. What I ordered is not what I received. Then, like a dummy, I took another chance trying to get the product I wanted and again received something totally different from what I ordered. These charges (totaling over $800) were made to my credit card in April and May. Am STILL waiting for refund despite numerous efforts and assurances from their non-existent Customer Service that a refund would be issued.

This company is awful! I ordered candles in glass votives and tablecloths. The candles were horrible, the wax was all over the glass, totally unusable. The tablecloths were backordered even though the site says they were available. Of course the charged my credit card the full amount. Then they cancelled the backorder and raised the prices. Anyway, here I am 4 months later and $95 in the hole and nothing to show for it. HORRIBLE COMPANY

The item never arrived, and we were never advised of the backorder. However, our card was charged as soon as we ordered, even though nothing had ever shipped. After communicating with them 3 or 4 times over 2 months, we never received a credit to our card, and have had to dispute the charges with our credit card company to get a chargeback. I will never do business with this company again, and am shocked that they can stay in business.

Like others, I've had the same bad experience. Order cancelled, cancellation confirmed, and over two months later no credit back on my credit card in spite of calling them several times. I placed an order in June 06..the product listed was listed as available. the next day I checked the listing (after I paid) -it showed up as back ordered. I cancelled the order immediately. It is now October, they have my money, I have had nothing but a lot of lip service with a promise of a refund and check being mailed out. I spoke again today with the rep and she says nothing was ever indicated that a check or that my refund had ever been expedited. This company is horrible, the worst experience I have ever had.

Awful customer service. I placed an order, received part of order. E-mailed them a week later asking about tracking information. The return e-mail said they would send an e-mail with shipping information when they shipped the items. After no response for a week, I called and after being on hold forever, was told that one of the items I ordered was discontinued, and the replacement item would cost about three times as much, and that another item would take about two to three more weeks to receive. I cancelled the order, and hopefully will have no problem getting my refund, but don't know yet.

No. My credit card was charged. I waited two weeks - no shipment. I emailed them via their website. No response. Three days later I reached them by phone. I was told the 'warehouse' was notified and my shipment would go out that day. Fine. 2 weeks later and past my anniversary, reached them by phone. I was told the ITEMS NEVER WERE IN STOCK! I demanded a refund and I was promised I would have my money back in 10 business days. After the tenth day, no refund. I reached them by phone, was told that the other lady was wrong, 'the return policy is 60 days until refund'! What?! I didn't receive anything to return! Notified the Georgia BBB and complained to my bank / VISA. Got my money back the next day, while my bank / VISA vs. Insta-suck duked it out. Woe to those who don't use PayPal or Visa. In sum, just hit your back button and shop from one of the other gazillion online shops.

7/7/2006 - ordered parts including wrench 7/20/2006 - (Partial) Order Shipped 7/27/2006 - recieved partial order (No Wrench. Sent an email to Customer Service asking for an estimate of when the wrench would ship. 7/31/2006 - Recieved an inane email from "Leslie Moore Customer Care" Thanking me for my order and telling me the [original] order had been shipped and delivered(duh!) 8/1/2006 - Called Customer Service: Spoke with Timothy. Said he would check with manager and call right back. Never got a call back. 8/4/2006 - Sent email to Customer Service explaining the situation and asking to have the missing wrench shipped. 8/5/2006 - Recieved this email: "We do apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused. Our warehouse is closed and we are not able to obtain any shipping information. We will notify you with tracking information via e-mail. If you have any questions please notify us." 9/11/2006 - sent email to "Leslie Moore - Customer Care" which read, in part, "PLEASE EMAIL ME BY THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON WEDNESDAY SEP 13, 2006 WITH THE SPECIFIC TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE WRENCH OR THAT YOU HAVE MAILED THE REFUND." 9/19/2006 - STILL NO RESPONSE!!

AS BAD AS IT GETS!!!

I ordered a product in June and it is September and I have not received the product or my money back. I submitted a problem on the Instawares website and got no response. They charged me immediately when I ordered the product. I have called 4 times and gotten a different excuse each time. They all have agreed that the product is not available. The latest excuse was that it takes at least two billing cycles before a refund can be given and since it did not happen in September then it might happen in October. And I should have read their refund policy before I ordered. It sure did not take two billing cycles for them to charge me. How does a company stay in business like this? They must be living on borrowed time before they go under. I should have read Epinions before I ordered. Life is too short to deal with companies like this. I have a saying that says, "I want what I want, when I want it, at a fair price, that meets or exceeds my expectations." Instawares has failed on all aspects.

Instawares committed outright fraud in connection with my order. In July, 2006, I placed an order for Chinet plates with Instawares by telephone. At the time that I placed the order, I gave the salesperson all of the product code information from a carton of Chinet plates that I already had, and I specifically requested exactly the same product as identified by the product codes.
When the order arrived, I found that Instawares had shipped an entirely different Chinet plate inferior to what I had ordered.
They have refused to accept a return of these goods. I have now been forced to file a fraud complaint with the Georgia Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs.
I would NEVER do business with them again...buyer BEWARE!!!

Oh boy, I wish, I have seen these reviews before I placed my order. I would never order from Instawares. On June 18, 06 I have ordered an item for close to $500, they sent me an item of $149 in value. The lady on the phone was arguing with me that this is the same item! Finally I sent the item back. Guess what? Still don't have my money. Each time I call, I spent hours on hold and each representative tells me different story. What a disappointment! I don't know how to get my money back! Did anyone ever receive money back from them?

This is a horrible company.
Check out the Nextag reviews also. Most higher
ratings are from pre-2005. They have crashed something
fierce since then. They have terrible communication and will not inform you when your item is out of stock and won't ship for weeks. Once you badger them enough they tell you, it is nearly impossible to get your money refunded when you cancel. They are one of those evil companies who get your money then don't give a crap anymore about you. AVOID at all costs. Just because a couple people had a good experience just means they got lucky! STAY AWAY!
