merchant could not fill my order in a reasonable time frame . merchant's web site did not tell me if the product was in stock or not. I ended up cenceling the order. and found the same item in stock from another merchant.

I bought to J&P after comparing offers, product information, product prices and shipment prices (to Spain) for several shops and e-shops. Now I am sure I took the best decision. Customer attention, prices, follow-up and on-time service met my expectative. By the way, meanwhile I was answering this survey, a friend of mine has just asked me my opinion about the best place to buy a GPS, and my advisement has been right forward J&P.

The J and H Products website was easy to navigate and information on products clear and accurate. Ordering was easy. I rec'ed an order number once my order was confirmed indicating further that an e-mail order confirmation would be sent. I never received any further correspondence. Getting a bit nervous, 7-8 days after placing the order I returned to the website and signed on to my account. There I found that my order had been shipped that day. While I am overall pleased with my purchase, better communications on behalf of J&H Products would have made it a great experience.

The GPS was back ordered and took about 8 weeks to get the product. I do not know if this delay was due to J&H Products, the GPS manufacturer or a combination of both. Local marine stores in the area also had this particular GPS on backorder but I do not know the delivery time. The VHF Radio and antenna were shipped promptly and arrived in excellent condition.

I have purchased several items from J & H Products. A Lowrance GPS Receiver/Fishfinder combo was on back order. J and H Products kept me informed on status. Another item shipped from a third party vendor was not correct. J and H Products promptly corrected this problem and I received the correct product within several days. Although, J and H Products does not have a formal customer service telephone number, they have been very prompt in answering emails.
