Hay, what do you guys want, anyway? MacMall is not a schlock reselling although they seem to have the best price—day in and day out—almost always. If you want someone to hold your hand and talk nice to you, go to B&H or Circuit City, these boys will sweet-talk you but will charge you plenty for doing so.
If you know what you want and can put your money on the table, MacMall will deliver the goods exactly like you ordered. I know because I’ve been a customer of theirs since they opened for business (ten years ago??). I have bought 4 or 5 new Macs from MacMall plus most of my peripherals and a lot of software without ever suffering a sad surprise or unwelcome disappointment. I will add that I shop for the best price and of course avoid the Internet scammers (if a price is too good to be true, BEWARE!)
My only complaint with MacMall is that it is difficult to contact a particular sales rep; so if you want to stay with one particular salesperson, it’s not likely to happen. But then, regardless of who at MacMall I buy from I always got exactly what I paid for and I saved hundreds of dollars in the bargain. I might add that you will receive any rebates from MacMall within a 30 to 45 days—MAX! And what’s wrong with that?
