The first thing I had to mention that I had a great experience with Number 1 Appliance's customer service. The peson that I got when I called their customer service was very amazing. He tried to understand and solve my questions, problems and things I needed. He did a nice job. To be honest I think that Number 1 Applaince customer service tries to solve customer problems immediately. I had some bad experiences with some other customer services in my home town stores. I am sure that all other Number 1 Appliance's services work as good as its customer service department. I got the product with excellent condition and it is working fine. The price was the best i had seen as well. There was no one that beat Number 1 Appliance's prices.

Finding Number 1 Appliance took a little while, but when I found them it made my seaching worth while. The service was amazing. They gave me all the information that I asked for. The shipping was quick and easy. My product came in a few days after I ordered it, and its was in perfect condition. I will always go back to Number 1 Appliance.

I love the dishwasher that I got from Number 1 Appliance. There are so many chain stores in my home town that do not really care about your needs and what your looking for, but that is not the same with Number 1 Appliance. HORRIBLE!!! Never again! Purchased 4 items online 4-23. paid for white glove with a total of almost $8,000. Delivery promised for 14-21 days. Arrived 6-9. When order was placed, a couple of items were out of stock but they did not tell me. My cooktop arrived with parts missing. The box was torn and dented. Delivery people did not say anything when they unpacked it. When my installer brought it my attention a few days later. I notified the shipper and #1. No one responded. After speaking with the credit card company, I decided to buy one locally and ship #1's back to them. If they do not credit my account for the $1089. return shipping, I'll have to do a chargeback.
Not only that, they took so long to ship, that I could not do the $75. rebate on the dishwasher, it was delivered 9 days too late. Goes to show, sometimes cheap is expensive. They advertise a 10 year warranty but I did not get any paper work from them period. Only what they sent by e-mail and I wonder if I will even be able to get my rebate money using those for receipts.

My home town stores prices for appliances were astronomically to high, but when i got in touch with Number 1 Appliance everything was at a price that i could work with. the service was outstanding, they worked with me, and made the ordering hassle free. i got my washer on time with no problems. thank you Number 1 Appliance.

I was a bit wary of purchasing $4000 worth of appliances from an online outfit and I feel obligated to warn other buyers against this company now!  I purchased a stainless steel refrigerator from this online company and 1 month later, the front door is literally covered with RUST marks.  It must not be true stainless.  I first contacted the manufacturer who said to take it back to where I bought it.  I then contacted Number 1 Appliance who said it's not their problem!  Number 1 Appliance said they have no responsibility for the product -- once you buy it, it's yours!  I am SO SORRY I did not purchase this product from Sears or Lowes where I would have no trouble returning it.  BIG MISTAKE!

Absolutely horrible customer service!  We purchased a Whirlpool refridgerator from Number 1 Appliance in May 2009.  When our fridge arrived we were very excited however, when we unpacked it we soon discovered that the door handle was badly bent, so bent that it had damaged the door!  I immediately contacted Number 1 Appliance and this is the response I received from Ed Silies at Number 1 Appliance and I quote "If you picked it up at the manufacture you can contavct them, otherwise you are responsible for the damages." end of quote (bad spelling not mine)  Thanks for the worst buying experience of my life.   Save yourself, don't purchase from these people!

This was a very easy purchase to make (with sufficent information on the Number 1 Appliance web pages). Delivery was to be in 10-14 business days. Everything arrived in only 8 days and within the hours as stated by shipping clerk that called from the freight company. All in all, a very good "Number 1" experience!!!

excellent experience...price of the oven I wanted was substantially lower than anyplace else...not only that, but my purchase was during a "free shipping" promotion!! My oven arrived way before the estimated time I had originally been given and was in perfect condition....I will definitely order from this company again for any appliances I may need in the future!

Received range with box top not connected to the rest of the box. Carrier said that is how they received the range. Minor scratches seen on lower door, warming drawer was not riding on track, and door insulation was slightly separated from frame. I will contact the seller to let them know about these issues. In spite of this, I would purchase from this company again. The price was great and when I emailed them with a question, they not only quickly emailed me back, but also left a message on my answering machine at home.

I placed an order on April 1-I feel like the fool! I phoned on April 2nd and was told it would arrive in 7-10 days. It is the 19th and all I have is a useless tracking number and a $2,000 debit. I too feel that I supplied a loan to this company! Really I don't mind waiting for an order if I am told the time frame and given proper info to track it-why bother???

I've been leaving messages and finally spoke to someone today, who provided no assistance.

Dishwasher and dryer delivery speed:  about three weeks, after promised in 5 to 7 business days

Nightmare delivery. Delivered by the "fly by night" delivery company with no phone number or name on the receipt, who dumped (literally) these two items on the sidewalk and asked for a signature while the heavy packing was being removed.  They disappeared immediately and the dishwasher was damaged on the front panel and two installation components were damaged.

I paid for insurance and received no documentation of any kind.  They will not replace the front panel.  I need to call Bosch, who of course, check this off as a delivery issue.

The dryer I bought two months ago from them on the same order is not functioning.  Insurance?  Call the company, they say. 

I would never do business with this company again, regardless of the price.

Misleading to say the least.  Ordered a DCS Cooktop and an Oven Hood and the commitment was for a 10- business day delivery.  The shipment did not arrive in 10 biz days.  They explained that the Fischer-Paykel factory was closed for inventory.  I asked when it closed and the response was "a couple days ago"... Really?  I had placed my order 2 weeks prior.  Then he backtracked and said it was closed 3 days after I placed the order.  Then I get an email stating it will be shipped 10-14 biz days from time of purchase.  So what do you believe?  At the very least, I would have excpected them to come forward and advise us that the order couldn't be delivered based on their commitment instead of having to make several calls to get an answer.

To make it worse, the person I spoke to was one of those who was willing to argue for the sake of having the last word - that was the extent of the reasoning.  I really wasn't convinced about a 4k purchase of this type online - so now I know ....never again

Buyer beware...  Number1Appliance does not let you know that their appliances are not in stock until after your credit card has been charged.  Apparently I have provided them a $2,000 6 week loan.

I called number1appliance with some general questions about a dishwasher. I ended up buying a refrigerator, microwave, range and dishwasher. They were very helpful and informative and even gave a 10 year warranties on all of my products. Where else can you find that????
