As Director of Religious Education for our local church, the Finance Committee would give me kudos whenever I could "carry off" planning and implementing a successful children's event and stay under budget. Time and time again, Oriental Trading Company Online Store was one of my secrets when pulling those feats off.
Over six years' time, whether it be for a Vacation Bible School program, tokens to use at one of our liturgical season ( Ex. Advent or Lent ) events, or to supplement our school year's CCD ( Religious Education) classes, by utlizing the Faith Department at Oriental Trading, I was always pleased with the results.

The pros when utilizing this site were: The ease with which I could 'click' through the on-line catalogue, saving favorites in my shopping cart while I browsed; the opportunity to visit the sale department when planning ahead--which allowed me to save money for the programs/events that were repeated year after year. Another company feature I appreciated was the multiples that came in each packet.  { How many times have you had to plan for many children at one time and found yourself visiting several store branches to be sure you had enough party favors, stickers of all the same design etc.? }

Although some people may comment that the quality of Oriental Trading items is 'cheap', you really should not complain when looking at the reasonable price for the amount of each product you receive in your shipment.

Speaking of shipping, I have had very good customer service from the Oriental Trading Company Warehouse. Items arrive when they ae supposed to, packed safely and with an easy to read, spelled out item by item invoice ( which my treasurer appreciated for her record keeping ).

The one time a shipment was going to be late, ( due to an unexpected back order ), a customer service representative called me and asked if I would like to have a suitable replacement item instead.  On top of that, they gave me a savings coupon for my next shipment.

Would I use this Store when purchasing something I wanted to have children keep long term ... probably not.
However, in the case of my many children's programs, the hands-on tangible token items I bought were perfect for reinforcing a lesson about a Saint, helping my youngest faith followers to understand the concept of a Bible story, or reward them with theme based stickers when they came to weekly CCD classes on time and prepared with their textbooks.  That is one of the main reasons I choose to frequent this Company as a consumer.
