I tried to purchase a pair of lenses via the website and found that the merchant required the credit card number AND the three digit number on the rear of the card. I NEVER give out this three digit number. Even though the merchant insists it is used for verification purposes, a policy of shipping to the billing address only might be better for those of us who will not provide that three digit numnber. For shipping to an address other than the billing address, additional verification might be expected. After placing the order, I attempted to contact the merchant by phone to see if I could provide the credit card number ONLY and received a recorded message on an answering machine asking that I leave a number & have my call returned at THEIR convenience. In the meantime, I began shopping elsewhere and found the lenses through another merchant. I called technical gear back. It was about an hour after I placed the original call and I cancelled the order. The customer service person had no problem locating the order & as far as I know, the order was cancelled. I would "shop" at this merchant again, mostly because their inventory of products seemed to be well stocked, but I will still not provide the three digit credit card number to ANYONE on the internet. If I should decide to shop at this merchant again and I find that the same credit card policy applies I will promptly move on to another vendor. Bill

The first time I bought lenses from them the product was scratched and appeared to have been used. I returned them for a full refund, minus shipping charges of course. In the end, this cost me. I decided to try them again and this time the product was new and in good shape. The experience with your website was frustrating and slow. If something is entered incorrectly your error messages are NOT at ALL helpful. I had to send four emails to you to get the problem resolved!!!!!!!!!!!! and I was not happy with all the wasted time. Please make sure your error messages on the data entry screen at least give some clue of what the problem is!!
