I recently wanted to get a new purse. I needed one badly and my old purse was cheap and falling apart. I wanted one that would last and look good.
I did my homework and shopped and shopped at several online stores. I was very careful because I wanted to get the right purse the first time and not have to send it back. This was somewhat difficult to do online, but I carefully measured and got the dimensions of my old purse and matched it against the selections on the website. I looked at a bunch of websites to see what each had to offer as far as the type of purse I was looking for. My preference is a back pack style of purse, because I like to have my hands free when walking around. Also, I never liked it when a shoulder strap purse would fall off of my shoulder at the most inopportune time, such as when I was carrying a cup of coffee (causing it to spill).
The Traveler's Shoppes have several regular purses, backpacks, clutch purses, student bags, briefcases, wallets, and they also have a large selection of luggage and carry on luggage. They also have quite a few back pack style purses that appealed to me. I finally narrowed my choice down to one or two purses, but I had a couple of additional questions about some of the details of the purses that I didn't see addressed on the website. I called the 800 number listed on the website and immediately was connected with a real live person, which was quite refreshing. The man that helped me was friendly and professional. He answered my questions quickly. I thanked him and briefly asked if they were located in Cleveland. He replied that the
Traveler's Shoppes are in Cleveland, Ohio and I told him I grew up in Cleveland. I don't know if it was because I said that or if he was just nice to everyone that called, but he told me that I could receive a discount for calling. I thought that was terrific!
The website is definitely easy to navigate and you can click on the photos of the bags to get a closer look when they are enlarged. They also have photos of the purses from three different angles and detailed descriptions including color and fabrics choices. The purses and backpacks are from a large array of manufacturers. The back pack style purse I ordered was from a manufacturer called Osgoode Marley. Osgoode Marley is available in selected stores and on a variety of websites that sell their products. (They have their own website too [OsgoodeMarley.com] which directs you to where you can order their products from, when you type in your zip code.) The bag I selected is an excellent quality purse, very well-made, and is sleek and elegant-looking. It's a little smaller than my old purse, but I intentionally ordered something a little smaller, because my old back pack purse was too big and clunky-looking. I received my order within the time indicated when I placed my order too, which was nice because I was anxious to receive it. My new purse is a soft cashmere leather and has some interior pockets to make carrying items easy and organized. I couldn't be happier with it.

The Traveler's Shoppes accept Pay Pal and all of the major credit cards. They have a wonderful return policy too, as described on their website, which is 30 day unconditional guarantee. You can track your order as well. If you spend more than $100.00, your order is given free shipping. (Less than $100, your order will cost $6.99 for shipping.) By the way, on
The Traveler's Shoppes website, I noticed that they have been given 5 check marks from Shopping.com!
