My first and last order with Thompson Cigars

recently I ordered cigars from thompson...the day after my order i recieved a call to enroll me in a discount program. after thanking the rep and declining i asked him to remove my name and # as i do not want any calls unless there is a problem with my order. the rep said ok...the next morning (thursday) i recvieved another call from a rep asking the same thing..do you want to join our discount program. I told her i did not and that I had already requested to have my name and # removed, she said ok and i thought innocnent mistake. following morning...i recieved a 3rd call, this time i was angry and told the person exactly what had happened in the past and that i do not want my # or name on their list to sell me anything...she said sorry and said "oh, i do see comments that you dont want to be called" I said, then why am I being called?" and the rep said "i dont know" after 3 calls I sent a complaint e mail...my request was not recieved in time becasue i was called again...this time i did not pick up...finally 10 days after the first call and my sent e mails i recieved a note that i would have my name and # pulled. bottom line, if you dont want to be harrassed by a company, then stay away from thompson...there are plenty of other companies out there.
