I had been in the market for a zero-gravity Perfect Chair for about a month but had not bought one because they were sort of expensive. While searching around on the web I ran across VitalityWeb and saw that they had refurbished Perfect Chairs for $899. That caught my interest right away.
I wanted to make sure that 'refurbished' wasn't just a term for 'used but fixed'. The friendly and helpful person that picked up the phone told me that the product was like-new and was in perfect condition. She had answers to all my questions and, since they had a good return policy, I placed the order.
I received the chair in about 3 days. The factory packaging it came tightly packed in was only penetrable after about 20 minutes of going at it with 2 kitchen knives and a pair of industrial scissors.
I assembled the chair in about 10-15 minutes and I inspected it carefully. It didnt have one scratch, ding, dent or flaw of any kind. The leather pads that went onto the chair were factory packed and appeared to be brand new. If given an unlimited amount of time, I do not think I could have ever guessed that this chair was refurbished had it not said Factory Refurbished on the side of the box.
The chair is comfortable, really comfortable. Both my wife and I love it and are very pleased with our purchase. Our Perfect Chair replaced a Restoration Hardware chair and a half. The perfect Chair is way more comfortable, takes up less space and really opened up our living room space.
My only complaint with VitalityWeb is that they told me the difference between a new and refurbished unit, besides price, is the warranty. She told me that a new chair had a one-year warranty and a refurbished chair had a 6 month warranty. Their website said that a new Perfect Chair comes with a 3 year warranty. That being said, I do not feel that this fact would have changed our purchasing decision.
I recommend both the zero-gravity Perfect Chair and VitalityWeb.
