Well it has been over a week and still no jewelry. This has been the worst experience in online shopping that I have ever had. I get better customer service from a gas station than I have from Zales. First of all, it was very frustrating even ordering the ring and for some unknown reason i still ordered it (which will never happen again). They were having trouble with the website and it would not apply the extra 15 percent and of coarse the 24 hour customer service representatives could not assist me. I had to call back the next day and speak to a supervisor about getting the advertised price. That seemed kind of dumb to me but I just said whatever and called the next day. Then they said my Diamond Card would not go through and kept transferring me to the Diamond Card people who told me that already issued the authorization code and the charges were already put on my card. So I had to spend another 30 minutes arguing to get the charges off of my card. Well I finally get on the phone with a supervisor which seems to have a clue of what she is talking about. She takes everything off of my card and starts over and she told me the ring should get here by Friday (it was Tuesday morning when I ordered the ring). I said ok well I have a special occasion so I have to have it here by Friday so that will work out.
It is now Monday of the next week and still no ring. The so called "customer service" representatives informed me that it was my fault and that I did not give it enough time. So I said well I guess I was just wasting my breath when I asked the supervisor before I ordered it. I have talked to supervisor after supervisor and they all treat me like I am a child. Well I have news for them, I have spent about $10,000 with Zales over the past 3 years and that is going to stop. I had went into the store last week to purchase the band that goes with what I ordered from them last week. Well I returned that ring today and I have tried cancelling my order for 3 days now for the online purchase. I hope that is a success because once everything is credited back to my account I intend on closing it and shopping at Kay Jewelers. I went in there today and they treated me like a queen! By the way, I have sent Zales 3 emails in reference to my order and they have not responded to any of them. My best advice to you would be to save yourself the headache and don't order anything from them.
