The 2005 Buick Terraza is a 4-door, 7-passenger full size van, available in 4 trims, ranging from the CX FWD to the CXL AWD. Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 200-horsepower engine. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2005 Buick Terraza is all-new for 2005.

Willing to bet one white chip, GM decides not to play with the big boys

The Bottom Line: The Terraza rides very smoothly, but has too many weaknesses to recommend it. To play in this segment you've got to spend the big bucks.

2005 Buick Terraza CXL vs 1997 Pontiac Montana

The Bottom Line: Buy one if you plan to keep it several years.
Review: Overall, GM has greatly improved many aspects of their mini-vans in the 8 years that have passed. I should start by saying our family with three children had great service from our Pontiac with no major repairs in 125K miles.
