DOA, then DAA (dead after arrival)

The Bottom Line: stay FAR away from this product. The purpose of a DVD player is to **PLAY DVDS**. This unit is blatantly incapable of performing that basic task.
Review: I bought this same unit from the local Kohls department store. And just as pretty much every other review here states, it comes in the box already DOA. The first one wouldn't recognize ANY didks I put in it. One of them I had *just played* on...
