It features an advanced ghost reduction tuner, and a new video navigation feature to easily locate your favorite recordings. Its Super VHS with a 4MB Digi Pure System, 19 Micron Heads and "ET" mode deliver the best picture, and the high resolution recording with any tape. Dynamic Drum and Time Scan allows for high speed visual search with no lines - with samples of sound played at regular speed. The HR-S9800U provides full editing features, including Flying Erase Head, Audio Dub, Insert Edit and Front Panel S-Video Input.

The Bottom Line: If you have the money and needs of video editing tools, this is the VCR for you. It looks good and plays good.
Review: Before receiving the JVC HR-S9800U S-VHS VCR in the mail today I used older models and consumer-level VCRs. Nothing compares to this VCR.

First, take a look at it! Champagne colored and futuristic-looking. It's a good conversation piece...
