Product Description

 
The Smartparts Digital Picture Frame is a wonderful device that is used to show a gallery of digital images. Essentially, it is a simple, low-power computer with an 15" diagonal LCD display that can independently process and present a series of digital pictures, video or MP3 music stored on a memory card, or in the digital frame's own built-in memory. The 256MB of internal memory can be filled by copying from a user's memory card, or by a direct connection to a home computer. This model also has the ability to rotate images in 90° increments.

Fantastic Frame - only minor complaints

The Bottom Line: Best frame I could find. If you can afford it, get it for the huge, high resolution, high quality display. Everything else is secondary.
Review: After trying a Kodak Easyshare (10" widescreen) of the same price (~$250 and BestBuy (Canada)), this device is so much better it's not funny. To be fair, the Easyshare theoretically had a Wireless connection feature which the Smartparts does not,...

The Bottom Line: I spent over a day reading reviews and checking tech specs, and this product is exactly as advertised.

Freezes way too much

Review: I agree with the other reviewer that the image quality is very good, and the unit - with its cherry surround - is appealing. BUT, the images freeze at least daily (I have four of them in two locations, and two of those freeze about every hour)...
