RS-232C, assignable digital inputs and component video up conversion The STR-DA3000ES is equipped with a pre-programming LCD remote with learning and MACRO capability and has the new elegant cascading silver front panel design.

Excellent receiver, good sound, excellent features

The Bottom Line: I will continue to buy Sony receiver's but will stick to the ES line for the higher quality.
Review: First let me state I am a Sony nut, this is my third Sony receiver. My first was a top of the line 1000 series, I'm still using to this day in my bedroom. My second was a 900 series (non es) I was never truly pleased with it and was somewhat happy...

Sony STR-DA3000ES Excellent Receiver

Review: Excellent receiver...great power and sound. Wife loves the silver face. Also have the Yamaha HTR5890 THX receiver...the Sony STR-DA3000ES sounds as good or better. Purchased from MyDigitalUniverse +/- $500 great price.

STR-DA3000ES Worth the money.

Review: I went with Sony because I wanted something that would work well with my Sony 51" HDTV. I owned a STR-DE895 that was purchased at Best Luy for $325.00 about 8 months ago.
Speakers are Yamaha's NS-555,NS-333,and NS-C444 rated at 100watts & 6...
