I wanted to experience Yesteryear--So I got My 'Cheap' Little Toaster!

The Bottom Line: Go ahead, buy it--it's a feel-good toaster. It may be a cheap imitation, but it's inexpensive and it toasts well.

First of all--read the instruction booklet before you use the toaster. You must wipe down and dry the toaster with a soft, clean cloth before the first use.

The Bottom Line: Looks good in our kitchen, but the darkness of the toast is inconsistent and it's terrible when toasting a single slice.
Review: We ordered a Model 3916 from a catalog about 9 months ago. I chose it based on its appearance and on Sunbeam's reputation. I remember the great automatic toasters they made years ago.
