I bought this product at a Home depot store because It was on clearance for $24.99 and I have been meaning to buy a slow cooker for quite some time now.... I figured I couldnt beat this price and the brand helped seal the deal for me. I had no idea how to use a slow cooker so I went to the local book store and got a slow cooker recipe book which had simple recipes that I could put together. I turned put everything in the the slow cooker in the morning according to the directions in the cook book. I have to say, the directions included with the slow cooker were a little difficult to understand, I think they were written in a foreign country and badly translated into english. Anyway, I set the cooker for 8 hours with all the ingedients for chicken with vegetables. Sure enough, 8 hours later, the chicken was so tender and full of flavor, I was truly impressed with the results. My family loved it as well! I just made a pot of white rice to go with it and a salad and dinner was done. So easy!
I do, however, wish I had read some of the other reviews prior to my purchase because it seems this product does not last long. I don't know, maybe I will have better luck, at least I hope so cause I intend to use it alot. If not, well, then I am glad I at least got in on clearance!
