Waffles & More

I have wanted the Black & Decker Grill and Wafflebaker for quite a while, but didn't really know if it was worth the money. One day while playing Let's Make A Deal at www.buybidwin.com I was lucky enough to win a $100 gift certificate to be used at the site. I spent about an hour going through the site to find what I wanted. I came upon the B&D Grill and Wafflebaker and I decided to get it. I wanted one and it was free so that was even better. It arrived by UPS a few weeks later and we couldn't wait to use it.

This appliance is really three in one. It can be used to cook waffles, used for open grilling, or used for closed grilling.

We decided to cook waffles on it first. You have to turn the knob to waffles and then preheat it for about 8 minutes before cooking on it. It is easy to tell when it is preheated because the signal light goes out when it is ready. We had already prepared our mix so we poured it on the grid. We then closed the lid. We waited for the signal light to go out to indicate that they were done. It took about 5 minutes and we had perfectly done waffles. My kids loved it.

We have also used the grill to cook bacon, french toast, hamburgers, sandwiches, sausages, eggs, and of course pancakes. Everything cooks to perfection.

The B&D Grill and Wafflebaker is very easy to clean up. You just take the plates off and put them in warm sudsy water and wash off and then rinse.

This is a great product that would be an asset in any kitchen. It makes my busy life a lot easier because it cooks the food fast and it has easy clean up.
