Author's Review
I have to start off by saying that this book is really the best one I have ever read. I really got into it from the very beginning and I haven't put it down scince....after reading it 3 times! Each time I go through it I catch a little detail I missed the previous time and it only makes the climax more effective. I was not even planning to buy the book, it just kind of jumped into my arms. It has really given me a whole new perspective on how lucky I am in my life. Although, despite all of these awesome things that I have been saying about the book, it is a little stereotypical. The goregeous ones get the attention from the guys, the more unfortuneate characters ends up having the personality of someone living life to the fullest and the one with divorced parents becomes the hateful and mean stepdaughter. I am sure that this is not always the case in some of the predicaments that these girls find themselves in. Other than that, the book was class. I found myself in tears at the end, everything closed so tightly, there is no room for any doubt. :)
The books plot is really as great as I say it is! It's about 4 girls, all of them have completely different personalities which really adds the the books effect. One day, while all in Carmen's room, they decide to play around a bit before going on their seperate holidays over the summer. They each find that, after trying on the pants, they fit each one of them perfectly! Magical? They now agree on a pact to pass the pants through each of them twice at 2 week intervals. They run into their own problems, stories, moments, and....first times. Having the pants really bring them all together in the end!
