Winnie-the-Pooh

This is where the fun begins. The adventures of Christopher Robin and his friends, in which we are introduced to Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga and Roo. Adventures include Pooh's attempt at getting hunny with a balloon, Pooh gets stuck in Rabbit's door, Eeyore loses a tail, Pooh discovers the North Pole, Piglet and Pooh go Heffalump hunting, Eeyore has a birthday, and the great rains come to the 100 Acre Woods.

This book is best read out loud with your children. You will thoroughly enjoy the timeless humor and fun prose by author A. A. Milne. Although an integral part of the stories, some of the unique word spellings will be difficult for young readers.

I highly recommend this book. I find it surprising how many people know Winnie-the-Pooh and friends from the Disney videos, TV shows, and merchandise, but have never been properly introduced to the characters through the original books. A "must read" for every family!

When you finish this book, you'll want to pick-up the sequel "The House at Pooh Corner" to continue the adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh and friends!
