Jams a lot

I like this fax machine ok for the most part. It's fast, it makes decent copies in a pinch but the darn thing jams up constantly. The up side is that for the most part it tells you where the jam is, but there seems to be a trick to mine. After you remove the jam you have to open and close the bottom compartment even if there is no jam there. It seems to think that it needs to be opened to clear the memory of the jam. The other thing, and I guess this wouldn't be so bad if it didn't jam so much, is that it only beeps once to tell you it's jammed. Mine is in a fast paced office and I don't always have time to make sure it isn't jammed. It does hold quite a bit of paper though. Be careful, if you put too much in it, and the line isn't very big or easy to see, it will jam again. The toner changing can get messy also. It tends to get everywhere no matter how careful you are. Kind of reminds me of glitter. It's more of a powder mess than liquid.
