Send it native code!!

This machine supports PCL5C and can handle the codes sent DIRECTLY to the printer, bypassing the driver. This is very important to those of us who use legacy software. Many older applications and custom applications have been written to access printers directly and problems arise with many newer printers which require the use of the Windows printer driver.
This machine is backwardly compatible with the HP Color Laserjet 4500 family. I plugged it in, sent it codes, and it worked beautifully-right out of the box. This will save me hours of re-programming. KUDOS TO CANON.
