Excellent Camera

I bought this to replace a Kodak digital camera which just wasn't taking reasonable shots, and my Canon A620 has been perfectly wonderful for more than a year. I'm here right now looking at prices to buy another one. I took my current one to Burning Man and after a few dust storms there are parts that aren't moving as smoothly as they used to and I'd only replace this camera with the same thing. Like people say, the only drawback is the size. I can only stick this in my pocket when I'm wearing loose pants. The pictures are wonderful. Having the option of fully manual shots is wonderful for capturing low light and motion shots. I carry a little six inch tripod with me wherever I go and I've taken hundreds of timed exposures with it over the last year and they're the envy of all my friends. I've only used this with rechargeable batteries and it's often surprised me with the amount of time and photos it can get off of one charge. I'm picky about cameras, enough to buy new ones when my shots aren't turning out right, and I love this one. Having the movable screen is great too for all the times that looking directly at the back of the camera isn't handy. That happens more often than it seems like it would once you're not constrained anymore. I took this camera to Hawaii and my friends called me up after I put my shots online to ask me exactly what kind of camera I had to take the awesome shots so that they could purchase the identical one.
