1999 Chevy Metro, 3 cylinders

We bought this baby new in 1999 when we lived near Seattle, WA. It now has 97,000 miles on it and the only thing replaced was the usual, i.e. spark plugs, air filter, oil, wiper blades, tires and radiator cap. It gets around 45 mpg city driving and uses no oil between changes. It has been one tough little car. We made numerous trips from Washington State to Denver; Washington to Central California; Washington to Las Vegas; Las Vegas to El Paso and lastly Las Vegas to Central California. No overheating in the middle of Las Vegas summers (other than me as it has no a/c), no breakdowns in the Mojave Desert, or in the Rockies.
