1999 Chevy Metro

Review: about six months ago I bought my Chevy Metro. I needed a car that would be cheap, good miles per gallon, small, and good looking.

The Bottom Line: This car is no longer sold in the US, and if you're looking for a used car, I would suggest looking at a used Echo, Prism, Civic, Sephia or Protege.

Great 4 Compact Car

The Bottom Line: I would recommend if someone is looking for practicality instead of luxury.
Review: Overall it's a pretty reliable car. GREAT gas mileage. Do hear road noise but what can you expect for the price. Can't have a Town Car for that price. Like everything else - You give up some to gain others.

My Bullet

Review: My bullet is the best gas economizer. Imagine while gas prices are soaring my bullet needs very little gas to go the distance - that's why I purchased this vehicle. Although I have a '96 it is still performing at it's best.

You get what you pay for

The Bottom Line: Fun car with manual transmission, excellent gas mileage. BUT AC can't keep up with torrid heat of the south. Loud engine noise. Best for city commute.
Review: I bought a Chevy Metro in 99' for commuting purposes. I drive 20 miles each way, and wanted a car that would't drink all the gas it could.

It that respect, the car performed well, with an average of 38-39 MPG with the manual transmission...
