Great little car at a great value...

I purchased the 2005 LS a couple of months ago. With the employee discount I paid $10,600 at Holler. This price included A/C, rear spoiler, and the standard LS stuff. I didn’t spring for the CD player, but instead went to circuit city and bought a higher quality player for about $100 less after installation. The car has adequate power for its size and will easily cruise at 85 on the interstate at about 3600 rpm w. the A/C on (manual transmission). It is a very smooth and quiet car with very nice and easy handling. There is plenty of interior room and you sit fairly high up in the car making the road quite visible. With that being said, sitting up so high does take away from the feel of the road and isn’t as enjoyable to drive as my 1995 Geo Metro which sits fairly low in comparison. The 2005 Aveo drives like a very refined vehicle and is a pretty luxurious ride for the style and price, but with more luxury comes less feeling of the road and not as enjoyable to drive in my opinion. It is a perfect family car for around the town and could easily hold its own on the highway. I would defiantly recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a cute, comfortable, capable, seeming reliable car at a good value.
