Chrono Trigger for PlayStation 1

This is a definite must-have game for the SNES or now the PSone. As far as RPG's go you can't get much better than this. Trust me this is a definite must have game that no owner of a SNES or PSone can go without. If you can find this game for the SNES for under a $100 bucks I'll bow down and praise you. This game is unbelievably awesome. The funny thing about this game is it's so good, even after six years of it's release in the states, it's still one of the most sought after games ever. The graphics are good, for the SNES these graphics were the best you can get on that system. The music is about as good as watching a symphony. The characters are all lovable and memorable. The story albeit not as deep as the Final Fantasy games, is still enough to hold any RPG player over. This is one of the first RPG's to ever feature multiple endings, and the first RPG that allowed you to start from the beginning with all of your equipment from your past game. The battle system is awesome, you can actually see your enemies before you fight them, helping cut down those encounters. The battles take place in real time, so basically your monsters move around while waiting for you to attack them, and instead of spells in this game you got techniques, and each character has an innate color, like lightning for your main character. To boot, there's a combo system implemented in this game, that surpasses any other RPG's system for magic, by far. You can do Double and Triple hits. Mixing and matching is all the fun in this game's battle system. This game also holds it's fair share of secrets and side quests for a game that holds so much stuff. This game also allows you to travel through time, altering the future, by doing something in the past. Like for instance, if you defeat a monster in the past, in the future it's gone. This game has so much to offer you, and there's three ways to get to the final fight in this game, I'm not going to spoil anymore. This game has so much, that words couldn't even begin to explain it's greatness as a game. Trust me, this is a definite must-have game, even if you don't like RPG's, get this game....NOW!!!
