Excellent processor!

When my old Cuisinart DLC-7 Pro, also a 14 cup processor, died, I felt as if I'd lost a friend. Plus, I still had a dozen perfectly good (not to mention expensive) slicing disks that I didn't want to throw away. A query to Cuisinart, however, revealed that my DLC-7 disks would work on any of Cuisinart's other 14 cup processors, including this DLC-2014 model. So I bought the DLC-2014 a month ago.
I am extremely happy with my selection. The design of the DLC-2014 makes it much easier to clean due to the integrated soft buttons and large pusher parts. I find that the machine runs as quietly as my old DLC-7 and is just as stable on my countertop regardless of what I am processing, including off center bread dough. I'm also very pleased there is a special button now for kneading that dough, as this button slows the dough blade's spin speed slightly in order to keep the dough from overheating. The capacity of the DLC-2014, a full 14 cups, allows me to, once again, make up to 2 pounds of dough at one time, a real time saver.
As promised, my DLC-7 slicing disks work perfectly in the DLC-2014, as well.
