Smart Cyle ...Smart Buy!!

I bought my 3 1/2 year old boy/girl twins the Fisher price Smart Cycle Learning Game System for Christmas not really knowing exactly what it was. My only regret is that I did not buy one for each of them!! The smart cycle comes in pieces so there is a little bit of assembly required but nothing too difficult! Once assembled, you simply plug a game cartridge into the side of the bike and plug the bike into the television set. The bike has a joystick (which my kids did not know how to use but caught on very quickly) and pedals and a handlebar. There are several different games that can be purchased for the smart cycle. Some of the ones that we have are Dora, Dinosaurs, Sponge Bob, and Diego. The games are all pretty similar in nature but they do look different on the screens. The bike comes with a little clip that the games hook onto so that it is easy to keep them together. The game won't work if the child is not peddaling so they need to be big enough to reach the peddals. Two major things that are positive about the smart cycle are that the games are educational and your child gets exercise while playing without even realizing it! All of the games we have so far have been easy enough that my 3 year olds taught themselves how to play. The games tell the child exactly what they need to do so there is no need to read any instructions.
