May be the worst phone I've ever encountered

We just bought this phone on sale at OfficeMax last week, and returned it a day later. (Luckily, we got our money back.) It is the worst! The phones themselves are uncomfortable to use, and the text size in the display is very small. The sound is poor - there was a lot of static (more than my old 2.4Ghz system) and very often, we had to ask people to repeat what they were saying. But the single worst thing was the range. The base handset wouldn't work at all in the next room, just a few feet away! Even the old 2.4 system worked better. My advice: spend a little more and get a better unit. This one is lousy!
