Author's Review

We had the Graco Turbo boosters for our kids (4 and 6 now) and would take some fairly long trips - Seattle WA to San Diego CA a couple times a year. While some may not think that's too far - it's 23 hours averaging 65 MPH... so it's a long trip.

My son is a big kid for 4 - bigger than his sister, and bigger than most 6 year olds - keep in mind - not fat - just tall - rail thin, he's very active in Karate and other sports - so he's not packing much "padding" just a lot of kid. The TurboBooster worked fine for short trips around town, but after 9 hours or so - his legs would ache and he needed a nights break - that meant a three day trip each way.... so we did our homework and tested the AirBooster at Target (yes the did let us test sit it after we asked if we could just open a new box - they decided we could use the display seat.)

HE LOVED IT!!! So we bought two. I did read about about the other reviewer having issues with the back dropping down, and we haven't had them long enough to deal with that, but for now they are in the lowest height setting anyway.

My kids love the fact that the back rest has "pillows" so they can take naps while on the drive without having to use a pillow.

The seat is long enough to support my son's long legs and help him avoid the aches he was having from the TurboBooster seat.

These seem to be very durable seats, the base is quite heavy so it doesn't slide as much as the TurboBoosters did.

Overall we're very satisfied with another fine Graco product.
