Grundig FR-200. Cute radio, great performer.

The Bottom Line: Can't go wrong for the money. A cheap way to get into SW listening and also be prepared for the next blackout.
Review: I bought this radio a year ago as a late Christmas present for myself. I have always been fascinated by those "hand-cranked" radios that don't need batteries, as they would be handy in an emergency.

A Bit of a Paradox

Review: Invaluable junk? The electronics of the FR200 are an unpleasant throwback to the analog era: knob and slide tuning, no auto frequency lock (hence, FM stations drift), and sound quality reminiscent of a tiny 1960s transistor radio.
