Junk?

I had an Equator for about 9 years before this and had to eventually replace a few parts but it worked great. Replaced it because it started leaking and saw that a connection point on the tub appeared to be rusted away. Got the new HWD1000 and it leaked. After 3 service calls and 3 months they (WE, since they have never seen one before and I had the parts diagram from the the internet) figured out what it was and of course the parts were not available again. It is not fixed yet but I am expecting it wil be. If you call Haier they are nice but can't really help. They can do almost nothing than to say someone will get back to you in 3-5 days. And more times than not nothing happens after that amount of time. I can deal with the repair expecting to eventually get it fixed (I cannot use the dry cycle) but the spin cycle doesn't cut it. Towels are soaking wet after the spin cycle. You also have to almost slam the door to get it shut properly (probably a small adjustment but why should I have to do this after only a few months? The detergent drawer leaks. Make sure you use their supplied hoses (I am assuming with a flow restrictor) but water will still trickle out the detergent drawer a warm water cycle. I don't believe they can do anything about the spin cycle. I have said enough. Probably going to install a separte washer dryer system this time. Expensive lesson.
