Hip Hammock Review

by   earthmamajem ,   Feb 18, 2005

Pros:  Comfortable, and a nice change of pace from the backpack or sling.

Cons:  Takes a few times to figure out how to use it with ease.

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

We have the same one made of hemp and fleece as pictured above. We got this for our son, who at the time was 2 and wanted to be carried when out, but was too big for our backpack, and didnt like the sling. This worked great! My husband mostly wears him in it and hasnt complained of it being akward or of backpain etc. It has also been used for our daughter, who is currently 1 year old. Its nice for around the house or when out. I still prefer the sling (easier to nurse in) but the hip hammock is a nice change of pace.

It takes a few times to figure out how to use it with ease, but once you know what you are doing its great!
