Powerful, efficient and easy to use
Pros:
Solid, attractive, fast, easy, reputable manufacturer
Cons:
List price seems a bit high, but is competitive with other brands.
The Bottom Line:
Have nothing to compare with it, but no reason to look at anything else. It does what a juicer is supposed to do, and does it well.

Author's Review
We have had our Breville for 2 weeks now. I chose this model largely due to our great experience with our Breville electric wok.
The company has excellent customer service; they answer questions and act on requests promptly.
We never had a juicer before, and rather than invest a lot of money initially we ended up purchasing a refurb unit online from iKitchen.com.
We were a little wary at first because of the $59 price tag.
Too cheap?
This was $30 cheaper than Amazon for a refurbished machine.
It did take a couple of weeks to get it, but it arrived factory packed along with the typical 90 day warranty for refurbished appliances. We felt for the price, we could not go too wrong.
Upon opening the package, we discovered the 'foam separator' was missing from the juice container . Otherwise everything was in 'as new' condition.
An email to Breville got a quick response (as usual) and the missing part arrived 5 days later.
The motor is surprisingly quiet considering how powerful it seems to be. We only use it at high speed for the most dense foods. It is just not necessary when LOW speed works just fine.
There are a good assortment of recipes in the manual and enough variety to give the juicer a good workout.
I find the feed opening just large enough for most food without a lot of trimming being needed for anything to fit.
We use most of the pulp waste for gardening compost, so that is never an issue, and drop a plastic bag into the container as suggested in the manual, makes clean-up even quicker.
I was surprised to learn a couple of people find clean-up a chore. Cleaning up right away (this is true of any food processing tools) is imperative as well as lower risk from a hygienic aspect. We are able to rinse out most residue with minimal use of the included brush. We often need the brush for the cutter disk, and use it carefully, just enough to loosen anything stuck and then it rinses right off. No reason to be aggressive with it.
All in all, a very solid and well thought-out product. We hope to use it more as we are working on a healthier lifestyle with more exercise, and well as better nutrition.
Juicers are a very good way to introduce essential nutrients into your daily regime.
