GOOD Everyday Toaster

The Bottom Line: Great toaster for everyday use! It looks good, cleans easily! It takes getting use to cooking a bagel, but in the end it's worth it.

My husband and I are big fans of Kitchen Aid products, especially hand held utensils, so I was excited to get this toaster for Christmas. I know, a toaster, BUT it was on my list, "a kitchen aid toaster".
My husband got this for a good price at Christmas ($42), but currently today the price on the website is $69.99
Great Points
The material that the outside of the toaster is made of is polycarbonate, which stays cool to the touch during use and is said to be stain resistant.
The toaster features extra-long and extra-wide slots made for also toasting bagels and larger bread.
There is a stainless steel crumb tray that is the length of the toaster and removes easily. It is also dishwasher safe.
The power cord wraps into the base of the toaster for storage purposes.
My Points:
The color is fine (white).
The product registration online was very simple!!
The toaster is attractive and looks good on the counter (I don't usually put appliances on my counters).
There is a warmer! If your toast gets cool you can simply warm it with the touch of a button! That is wonderful when you have kids, get a phone call, etc. The other thing is when the toast is finished it pops up, but just enough to grab it. For the most part it stays inside so it will stay warm.
Not so Great Points
Like any other toaster you have to experiment with cooking settings, so be prepared to do so!
Worth the money?
I would say yes. I am one to pay for a name at times and I trust Kitchen Aid. If there is a problem I am sure the people at Kitchen Aid will make it right. Also, to me it is worth it to have the warmer and the easy clean of the crumb tray.
