Gives me what I want

After dropping my previous digital camera a couple of Easters ago, I had to take the plunge and pick up a new one before my second daughter was born. So I did a little shopping, asked around, and wound up with this beauty.

At first, I was a little hesitant. I mean, I'd spent a couple of years with my old camera, and believe it or not, this one worked a little different. But once I realized that all I had to do was plug it into my computer and hit one key to download all my pictures, I was sold.

On top of that, you get to tinker with the manual mode and a handful of others, all of which I've messed with to a limited extent.

The only issue I've had consistently is red eye. It's hard to get good pics of kids with the red eye function (too many flashes, the kids move around, etc.), but not using the red eye function leaves 3 out of 5 people glaring back at you with blood-red eyes.

Besides this, I dig the camera, and believe anyone else will with a limited budget and camera expertise.
