Product Review

flawed both in product and service

Pros:  love the idea of wireless headphones - good sound

Cons:  sold a product that was known to break - very poor customer service

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Author's Review

I love the idea of wireless headphones with my iPod. I hate the earbuds supplied with the iPod and the idea of headphones with no wires attached seemed fantastic. I powerwalk with my iPod in a pocket love being able to change songs and volume without touching the iPod

unfortunately the idea is not exercised in the reality of Logitech's headphones

I look after my belongings - I have a pair of 10 year-old Sony wrap-around headphones still going strong and looking like the day I bought them.

Of course the Logitech headphones broke after 4 months use due to the design/manufacturing flaw. Logitech Australia didn't want to know me - they washed their hands of the situation even though they knew about the design flaw. The whole warranty process was a nightmare. 5 weeks and many phone calls later I realised the only way forward was to threaten going to the press - a new set of headphones arrived 2 days later.

Why did Logitech sell a product with a known flaw?
