G7 -- great Mouse, but new technology not reliable.

Date of Review:  Feb 7, 2007
Review: The mouse itself works great, but after two weeks it started randomly to freeze and to reset the sensitivity to medium. Reading the forums at logitech, this appears not to be uncommon. Users were really frustrated and most have the mouse replaced at...

Battery and Feel

Date of Review:  Dec 17, 2005
Review: I have a MX1000 but wanted more control at high resolution so I purchased the G7:

1. I put the G7 on the lowest DPI rate for working with Autocad/Viso/PhotoShop then switch it to the highest for normal use.
Works Great!

2. I...

A quality product with a few imperfections

Date of Review:  Jan 2, 2006
The Bottom Line: This is one of the best wireless mice in existence. It looks great and it is extremely responsive. I consider it to be an upgrade from a MX518. Highly recommended.
Review: Nearly everything about this mouse is perfect, and I consider it to be a significant upgrade from my Logitech MX518.

In particular, the on-the-fly DPI switch buttons are situated further away from the scrollwheel than with the MX518. This...

About as close to perfect as you can get

Date of Review:  Feb 2, 2006
The Bottom Line: A superb mouse for gamers or those that need high sensitivity in a wireless configuration. Highly recommended
Review: I am into PC gaming and have progressed from corded manual mouse, to corded optical mouse, to cordless optical mouse, and had only now decided to go for a laser mouse. I know, if I am a gamer why did it take me so long? Part of it was the cost of...

great mouse indeed

Date of Review:  Jul 2, 2006
Review: this is a very fast mouse and since you can adjust the sensitivity on the fly that makes it even sweeter but the one area i am going to complain about is the battery life tho it does come with two so you can keep one charging. It would just really...

Incredible wireless mouse! Not just for gamers.

Date of Review:  May 24, 2007
The Bottom Line: Pricey? Yes, but the G7 performs, looks good, and is easy to use. Anyone will appreciate the engineering in this mouse.
Review: Most wireless mice just "get the job done". They're nothing amazing, but really don't seem to do any one thing great. And that's the problem: ergonomics are mediocre, tactile feedback is mediocre, design is mediocre, and so on. Logitech has...

It might be!...It could be!.... It.... isn't.

Date of Review:  Oct 15, 2007
The Bottom Line: Great mouse, but wait for something with a 2nd thumb button. Try at a local store before buying for feel.
Review: The G7. Gamer's delight? Gamer's nightmare? How about... almost heaven.
***** To the reviewer complaining about ergonomics... um, try it at a local store before buying.

I'll spare giving you specs and features. Most of you already...

Great, but NOT Perfect

Date of Review:  Dec 1, 2006
The Bottom Line: Recommended because it's so comfortable and precise. Only caveat is that I have had one defective mouse replaced already. Reliability may be questionable.
Review: I have owned a number of wireless mice, including the Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer and the Logitech MX610. The Wireless Intellimouse is simply awful--heavy and incredibly "laggy." The MX610 is nice, but it exhibits some "wake up" time...

Nice, for a few weeks

Date of Review:  Apr 17, 2008
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't recommend this mouse at all because of the battery life.
Review: The background

Let me just say I own about 5 Logitech mice ranging from the basic wireless rf based models all the way to the brand new models so I know these mice. First, the only reason I got this is it was a good deal on ebay. The...
