Earsplitting (Pun Intended)

The Bottom Line: For the ultimate gamer and movie buff, the price shoudld'nt be much of an issue.
If you're an audiophile, get this stunning black beauty and wake up your neighbour - it can pump out 500 Watts of power (RMS)!!!
This 5.1 channel digital speaker system conforms to Dolby Digital, DTS and THX standards, which should be enough to convince anyone about how terrific it sounds.
The Subwoofer sports a powerful 10-inch driver. The satellites feature a mid range driver and a bullet tweeter- all of which translates into good sound balance. It also comes with a control pod and an IR remote which have all the functions, right from inpute selection to individual volume controls.
Be it games, movies or music of any genre (I like rock and metal mostly but other genres sounded perfect to me), it can handle them all flawlessly.
If you're after a home theatre system, get this one rather than spending a fortune on a high-end one.
Note: Don't be fooled by PMPO Watts as how some manufacturers mention. It is only a gimmick. PMPO Stands for "Peak Momentary (or Music) Power Output". Notice the word peak. Although there is no single answer or mathematical fomula to convert these values, usually the PMPO power is about 5 to 10 times higher than the RMS power.
THX - An acronym for Tomlinson Holman's eXperiment, THX is a standard that if often mistaken as another surround sound technology. It isn't. Instead, this standard aims to ensure that the audio/video playback systems of cinema equipment adhere to the highest standards of quality in terms of power handling, frequency response, distortion, etc. This is much like a 'seal of approval' standard that involves certification of the components that go into a home theatre such as amplifiers, video playback equipment, speakers, equilizers, etc.
