I have had many different jobs requiring various tools and training. I have been a mechanic, security guard, firefighter, and extensively involved in emergency medicine. As different as some of these jobs may seem there is a common tool used by all of them, a flashlight.
I tend to be rough on tools so my flashlight is always getting tossed around, dropped on the ground or into a puddle. As you can guess I could go through a lot of flashlights. At least I used to go through a lot of flashlights, until I bought my first Mini MAG-LITE.
I now have a Mini MAG-LITE at home, work and in my car.
This compact beam of light can really illuminate an area. But what makes this flashlight stand out are its several practical and stylish features.
Durable. Each light is built from an aluminum alloy making it very strong and lightweight.
Water Resistant. The one piece tubular design and rubber seals at each end make this a tool you can use in any weather.
Secure Grip. MAG-LITE has created a non slip grip they call “Diamond Knurl”. This non slip surface will keep the Mini MAG-LITE comfortably secure in your hand even if they are cold and wet.
Easy On/Off. This light can be easily operated with the heaviest winter mittens. The way it works is with an easy twist turns it on. If you continue twisting your beam of light will become more focused. All this can be done with about a half turn.
Spare Bulb. At the end opposite the light is an end cap. If you unscrew this you can change the batteries, or check under the spring and you'll find a spare bulb.
Candle. One of my favorite features of the Mini MAG-LITE is the candle option. As you turn the light on just keep on turning and the end lens cap will come right off. Now place the lens cap lens down and place the bottom end cap into the lens cap, you now have a candle giving light in every direction.
Sculptured Finish. These lights have been sculpted on a lathe and then given an anodized finish both inside and out. This minimizes any corrosion thinking of developing. Details like that only come from real craftsmen.
Perfect Size. The best tool is the one you have with you when you need it. The size of the Mini MAG-LITE is not a burden to have in a purse or jacket pocket.
