I purchased this model in white and not in Stainless Steel. All other features are the same. It has been in our home for four months now and we are very pleased with it. It is hard to tell the machine is operating without looking at the front panel for the lights. It is very very quiet, and does a super job of cleaning. This product represents the Maytag reputation well. My wife and I both recommend this machine.
