Maytag Monster

We purchased this refrigerator from the Maytag Store in Farmington, CT. Shortly after it's purchase, everything began freezing inside the refrigerator, especially items near or in the crisper drawers. A call to Maytag corrected that. A repairman showed in a few days and turned the temp up to 41 instead of the 39 we had it at. The freezing problem ended. There is no need to keep the setting below 41, especially if you are keeping a lot of liquids in the refrigerator.
My wife loves this Maytag Monster and I find it excessively oversized and over-priced. The double doors seem cumbersome to open and handle and you better have enough clearance on both side of the refrigerator. Measure your space before you buy. To grab cold cuts out of the lower drawer, you need to open two doors which I find poor engineering. I also find the bottom freezer awkward and aggravating to open, locate and remove items.
