We took our Moby Wrap when we were adopting our son, and we are so glad we did. It was a lifesaver. We were in a hotel for a month, and it came in handy when we had things we needed to do (or even just to go get breakfast at the buffet) and he wanted to be held. We bought the sand colored one at www.WorthTheWaitBoutique.com. The Moby Wrap is the perfect way for parents, especially adoptive parents, to bond with their child. The child is held close to you, and can hear your heart beat. Our son loved the cradle hold, he instantly fell asleep the moment we placed him in it. I like that there are many different holds and positions that you can wear the Moby Wrap, allowing for more use as your child grows older. It does take a bit of getting used to strapping it on, but once youve mastered it, its as easy as can be. And because it spreads the weight across your back, even if you have back issues you can wear your child. My husband had a broken back ten years ago; his back still bothers him occasionally. But he can wear our son with no problems at all because the weight is distributed evenly. We did not breastfeed, but several of my friends who have say that the Moby is great because they can discretely breastfeed while not having to remove the baby from the wrap. At seven months we still use our Moby Wrap. We find it easy to carry and wear him when we are traveling, out and about at events where a stroller might be in the way, and even sometimes on walks. We have since bought another one so that we always have one in the house and one in the car. It is definitely money well spent.
