Nice

After our old ten pound ancient digital camera finally died, we went to Best Buy in search of a new one. With a baby, you don't want to go long without a camera. So we chose the Coolpix for several reasons. One reason was its use of the sd card. We had an extra 2 gig card already, so that worked out well. Next, we liked its size. It is much, much smaller than our old one, but not so tiny that you might lose it in your purse or backpack. Another good feature is its durable construction. Let's face it: when you have kids, things get dropped. If you are going to pay good money for something, it should be well-made. We also liked that it had video capabilities, although we have yet to try that feature since we just received a video camera as a gift. The quality of the still photos is great though. The LCD screen is a good size. It has so far been a piece of cake to operate. To sum it up, this camera is serving its purpose well. No one wants to miss the chance to preserve their memories because of a faulty piece of equipment. This is a quality camera at a decent price. i would, however, recommend getting some rechargeable batteries to cut back on the expense of replacements.
