Budget Nikon Delivers - FM10

Date of Review:  May 27, 2000
The Bottom Line: The Nikon FM10 is the cheapest entry to the extensive Nikon camera/lens system. A capable performer for a bargain price.
Review: A few years back Nikon Corporation entered into an agreement with Cosina to produce a camera that Nikon would market in the third world. Cosina was the right choice, since they had been manufacturing just the camera that Nikon wanted, for many...

A Low-cost Camera Can Take Beautiful,Sharp Photos!

Date of Review:  Mar 14, 2001
The Bottom Line: If you are more interested in photography than the camera itself, buy the camera.
Review: A low-budget camera,Nikon F10,may not as feature-rich as the top-of-the-line camera such as Canon EOS-1N or a Leica. It is a blessing in disguise. The dearth of features does not put the photographer at a disadvantage. He may make the best use of the...

Date of Review:  Oct 6, 2005
The Bottom Line: The camera delivers where it counts. It's simple to use ( for those who prefer manual photography) and has an awful lot of features for it's price.
Review: If you wonder why companies still make film, then the FM10 is not for you. If you can't live without auto-focus or program mode, then the FM10 is not for you. BUT.......if you actually enjoy using a camera in manual mode, or you prefer a camera that...

A very good (but not perfect) camera for astrophotography and nighttime photography.

Date of Review:  Dec 18, 2003
The Bottom Line: A very good camera for astrophotography because of its overall quality and all manual, no battery needed operation. Excellent availability of lenses, accessories, instruction manuals, advice, repairs.
Review: There are already enough great reviews to help you decide whether or not the Nikon FM10 is the camera for you, so I won't write another one. This one is a bit esoteric--it only discusses the suitability of the FM10 for astrophotography, an...

You See What You Get

Date of Review:  Nov 29, 2001
The Bottom Line: DIY and get results like a professional.
Review: Out off all the things I wanted this year for Christmas it was the Nikon FM10. I have always preferred manual cameras and for one main reason. What you see is what you get. Unlike other cameras where you can look through the viewfinder, see a great...

A poor way to attract future customers.

Date of Review:  Nov 21, 2000
The Bottom Line: I would much rather buy a good used Nikon. Think about your purchase.
Review: Out of the many Nikon cameras I have dealt with this one is by far the most disappointing. I hate to say that because I know that I can't blame Nikon. . . they didn't make this camera. Cosina (at least I think that is the company's name) made this...

This camera gets picked on!!!

Date of Review:  Aug 29, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you want an inexpensive manual SLR in the NIKON line, get it. You won't be sorry
Review: Ladies and Gentleman, this camera is not an F5. One should not expect to feel or act like one. It's Nikon's low cost "My First SLR" type of camera. It fits its role very well.

I bought his camera on an impulse. I'm glad I did. I got it off...

Great Camera, only problem is how limited your imagination is.

Date of Review:  Jan 30, 2003
The Bottom Line: Self explanatory, manual $250 dollar camera. Buy good lenses (they will cost more than the camera) and go home happy.
Review: First off, note the price. Around 200-250 dollars. Do not expect this camera to knock your socks off such as a F100 or F5. Get serious here. It's a 100 percent manual camera, just like every other review says. The single best thing is that it...

Nikon FM10 - Not the Best

Date of Review:  Nov 22, 2000
Review: The Nikon FM10 has some good features, but along with some annoyingly frustrating ones. As a photography student, i received this camera as a gift, and sold it 2 months later on ebay. It is not a exactly a bad camera, but not the best either.
